Bio paragraph: Gen Henny van der Graaf is an expert in Conventional Disarmament, Security Sector Reform, Demobilization and Re-integration. Former Special adviser and project manager for the UN and EU in South East Asia (Cambodia (EUASAC), Philipines, Bangladesh), West Africa(Mali) and South Eastern Europe (SEESAC). General van der Graaf served on the UN Secretary General's Advisory Board on Disarmament Matters, on UN missions to Africa, Bangladesh, Philippines, Albania and as a UN/EU election monitor in Cambodia (1993), South Africa (1994) and Mali (1997). He previously worked at the Peace Center of the Technical University of Eindhoven and is former board member of International Alert (Londen) and the European Center for Conflict Prevention(The Hague).
