On April 2, 2024, the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association (CACDA) and the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) jointly held a Track II Dialogue on Biosecurity online. Mr. Dai Huaicheng, Secretary General of the CACDA and Dr. Jaime Yassif, Vice President of NTI|Bio, attended and addressed the dialogue. Experts had in-depth discussions on defining key terms of biosecurity, measures to prevent risks from duel use biotechnology, and identifying potential areas for China-US collaboration.
