CACDA Successfully Held China-U.S. Track 2 Dialogue on Nuclear Security

On May 23 and 24, 2022, the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association (CACDA) held China-U.S. Track 2 online Dialouge on Nuclear Security with Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI) of the U.S. . CACDA Secretary General Li Chijiang and NTI Vice President Scott Roecker attended the dialogue and delivered opening remarks. More than 30 experts and scholars from State Nuclear Security Technology Center, China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, China Institute of Atomic Energy, China Academy of Engineering Physics, China Institute of Nuclear Industry Strategy (CINIS), Arms Control Association (ACA), Carnegie Institute for International Peace, Stimson Center and World Institute of Nuclear Security attended the meeting. Experts from both sides conducted in-depth discussions on the topics including current state of international nuclear security, the implementation of Nuclear Security Summit pledges, 2022 A/CPPNM Review Conference, and promoting exchanges and cooperation among nuclear security technology centers of various countries.
