On October 20, 2021, CACDA and Saferworld jointly held an international seminar on "The Arms Trade Treaty: International Cooperation and Global Standards for Responsible Arms Transfer". Li Chijiang, Secretary General of the association, and Bernardo, Director of Saferworld co-chaired the conference. More than 20 domestic and foreign experts and scholars from the Arms Control Department of the Ministry of foreign affairs, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, Yunnan University, China North Industry Corporation, Saferworld, Stockholm International Peace Research Institute and Kenya Security Information Research Center attended the seminar. There were in-depth discussions on the effective implementation of ATT and international cooperation in the Non-Proliferation of conventional weapons. Li Peng, Deputy Secretary General of the association, and Wu Jinhuai, deputy director of the association, attended the meeting.
