On May 25, 27 and June 1, 2021, CACDA and Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP) co-organized the online track 2 China-U.S. dialogue on space security. CACDA Secretary General Li Chijiang and CEIP Vice President George Perkovich attended the dialogue and delivered opening remarks. More than 20 scholars from CACDA, China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing Aerospace Long March Scientific and Technical Information Institute, National Astronomical Observatories, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Secure World Foundation, University of Texas at Austin,Aerospace Corporation, attended the meeting. Experts conducted in-depth discussions on the current state of space Security and how China and the United States can cooperate on Space Situational Awareness and mitigating threats from orbital debris.
