On March 2, 2021, the Department of Arms Control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with the International Committee of the Red Cross on the implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty. CACDA Secretary General Li Chijiang attended the meeting on invitation and introduced the work of CACDA in the field of conventional arms control. The participants exchanged views on promoting the implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty, preventing the illicit transfer of conventional arms and mitigating humanitarian risk.
