CACDA Secretary-General Li Chijiang and Director Zhou Chang attended the civil society side-event of the official P5 Conference in London on February 11-12, 2020. The event was organized by King’s College London (KCL) and the European Leadership Network (ELN) in partnership with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth office. The event focused on the P5 Process transparency and enhanced dialogue between governments and think tanks, which brought together more than 60 government and non-governmental experts to discuss P5 progress on nuclear doctrines, transparency, and nuclear responsibility, 2020 NPT process among others topics.
