On September 24, 2019, CACDA held a round table discussion with UN Disarmament Fellowship delegation at press briefing room of Foreign Ministry. Secretary-General Li Chijiang presided over the discussion, Professor Zhu Chenhu of the Defense University, Deputy Director Liu Cong of the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, Associate Researcher Xu Longdi of the China Institute of International Studies made presentations on China’s nuclear policies, non-proliferation issues and cyber security issues. Young diplomats from 25 countries engaged actively with CACDA experts and have profound discussion on various arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation issues. The UN officials expressed appreciation of CACDA’s efforts and its willingness to continue future exchange and cooperation.
