On 22 September, 2014, the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association (CACDA) and SIPRI released the Chinese Edition of SIPRI Yearbook 2013 at a launch ceremony in Beijing.
SIPRI Director Dr Ian Anthony and CACDA Secretary-General Chen Kai gave presentations at the event, which marked the 12th time SIPRI and CACDA have collaborated on the translation of the Yearbook into Chinese, and which was attended by more than 80 foreign diplomats, arms control experts and scholars.
The SIPRI Yearbook 2013 provided comprehensive analysis on the developments of international security issues, including armed conflict,military expenditure,nuclear arms control,reducing
security threats from chemical and biological materials,conventional arms control and military confidence building,dual-use and arms trade controls,etc.
