All project-related activities and research outputs are driven by a joint non-governmental Africa-China-Europe Expert Working Group (EWG) on preventing the diversion of arms and ammunition in Africa. The EWG is made up of nine experts – three each from Africa, China and the EU – who, through their joint research and outreach, support cooperative actions to tackle the illicit trade and diversion of arms and ammunition into and inside Africa.
